Summer ‘18 + Garden Rooftops = John Lewis

Say hello to one of London’s little friends – The Gardening Society, returning this summer to John Lewis on Oxford Street. So lowdown? Having a key focus on music and labelling this summer on the rooftop garden as “Summer of Sound On The Roof” – we know it’s not a catchy name against the likes of Pergola or Roof East, they’re still planning some pretty memorable things.

The Gardening Society is shaking it up at John Lewis this summer with nothing but BEATS. Well, maybe more than just that but just think, heart of Oxford Street with DJ sets, live gigs, acoustic sessions with Daudi Matsiko, Charles Watson and even more as summer comes in. And don’t forget to step into one of the 3 immersive areas where you can max out your current favourite tune on brand new audio equipment.

Of course rooftop garden = food, a must in London. So we’re looking at fried chicken and halloumi craving satisfaction provided by Butchies followed with ice-cream sandwiches via Happy Endings. And with a gin & tonic garden too, it’s the perfect combination of Back Garden standards, London rooftop bars, damn good food and amazing views. Oh yes, thank you Summer 18 – well maybe more the Gardening Society and John Lewis, you get our drift.
