Get a Taste of Italy, in Southwark
Oh we love pop-ups, especially ones that involve olive trees and vines and martinis and everything else healthy and alcoholic! Healthy and alcoholic in the same sentence maybe doesn’t go so well, but Gordon Ramsay’s Olive Group pop-up is currently sitting in Union Street Café’s basement bar, and we couldn’t be more in love.
So the whole purpose? The original olive. The cocktail menu and food have all been designed around ways we can enjoy the olive – even for those who perhaps aren’t so keen on them! I mean, when else would you try olive oil in a cocktail?
For all you gym-goers, think of this as carb cycling and your overload on healthy fats day, for everyone else – just eat happily! The menus include a cauliflower ‘fritti’ and cheese fondue, truffle chips, a ricotta and walnut bruschetta – it’s probably one of the only times Hell’s Kitchen could look so pretty!
