The London Dungeon recreates various gory and macabre historical events in a humorous style. It uses a mixture of live actors, special effects and rides so everyone can enjoy.

 

3. Winter Wonderland

Price: Entry is free but there is a charge for attractions

Winter Wonderland is a large annual Christmas event held in Hyde Park, London. It has thrilling fairground rides and ice skating to charming Christmas markets and family shows making it suitable for everyone.

Christmas markets are street market associated with the celebration of Christmas during the four weeks of Advent. There are many things you can buy there and you can also create small pieces of art as well.

6. Winter Lights Festival

What can you do at the winter lights festival?

The Winter Lights festival is an annual event in Canary Wharf to brighten the January Evening Skies. Fun, inventive light artwork is dotted around the Canary Wharf Estate, making full use of the area's water and skyscrapers.

 

7. Take a Husky sleigh ride

Price: Husky and donkey rides are free, suitable for children under eight and cannot be booked in advance.

A fantastic adventure to go on at the husky sleigh rides where you are pulled along on a sled by a team of enthusiastic huskies. You enjoy the scenery and the dogs love doing their job too.

 

8. New Year's Eve Fireworks

What can you do at the new year's eve fireworks?

A way to all come together and to celebrate the New Year by watching a beautiful display in the sky. This is an annual event and tickets need to be purchased in order to watch the event.

 

9. Storytelling with Father Christmas

At Christmas, children aged 3-11 can sit and listen as Father Christmas himself tells a very special festive story.
